Construction and materials

The tee is made of stainless steel 316 (1.4401), which guarantees high resistance to aggressive media and environmental conditions. The use of monomeric ethylene-propylene-diene rubber (EDPM) as a gasket material ensures a tight connection even at varying temperatures and pressures. The fitting has SC-Contur, which means that an unpressed connection is easily detectable during leak tests – important for ensuring the safety and quality of the installation.

Application and compatibility

The tee with a diameter of 18 mm and an internal thread of 3/4 inch is designed to connect pipes of the same diameter and connect threaded components. It can be used in domestic water, heating, cooling and technological systems. It is compatible with the Viega Profipress system, enabling quick and safe installation using pressing technology. The maximum working pressure of the tee is 16 bar at 20°C.
