Transition fitting between press-fit system and tapered thread

The 2311 Sanpress fitting connects a pipe from the SC-Contur system (outer diameter 54 mm) to a 2-inch NPT male tapered thread. It is a one-piece component made of stainless steel 316 (1.4401) – a material with high corrosion resistance, suitable for water, heating, and industrial installations requiring long-term reliability.

The seal made of EPDM (ethylene-propylene-diene rubber) ensures tightness during pressing, without the need for additional sealing agents. Installation requires only a standard Sanpress pressing tool and an NPT thread wrench – no welding, screwing, or other connection methods are required.

The working pressure up to 16 bar at 20°C allows for safe use in pressurized installations, including potable and hot water networks. The fitting length is 91 mm – a value confirmed in ETIM data.

The component does not include a drain valve or air vent. It is intended exclusively for a permanent, non-detachable connection between a pressed pipe and a threaded end component.

Compliance with ITB-KOT-2018/0740 confirms its approval for use in Poland. The dimensions of the pressing sleeve (54 mm) and the thread (NPT 2 inches) are precisely matched – there is no need to use adapters or attachments.
