Transition between crimping system and gas thread

The transition fitting enables connection of a pipe from the SC-Contur system (15 mm diameter) to an installation equipped with an internal gas thread BSPP-G 3/4". This is a one-piece component designed for use in heating and water supply systems where it is necessary to transition from crimping technology to a traditional threaded connection.

All sealing elements are made of EDPM – an elastomer resistant to temperatures ranging from -25°C to 110°C, ensuring durability under thermal fluctuations and long-term stress. The seal requires no additional lubrication or adjustment – the connection becomes automatically hermetic upon crimping.

Connection to the SC-Contur pipe is achieved via a crimping sleeve, compatible with Viega crimping tools. On the opposite side – internal thread 3/4" – is standard and compatible with most valves, radiators, and domestic devices conforming to ISO 228-1. There is no need for thread tape or paste; the internal seal within the fitting ensures tightness without additional materials.

Dimensions are precisely matched: length 45 mm, outer pipe diameter on both sides 15 mm – enabling smooth flow and minimizing hydrodynamic resistance. The threaded section is made of silicon bronze (siliziumbronza) – corrosion-resistant, ideal for potable and hot water, as well as systems with low oxygen content.

The fitting meets requirements for pressurized piping systems up to 16 bar at 20°C, making it suitable for both modern low-temperature installations and older networks with high operating pressure. No additional anchoring is required – once crimped and the thread is tightened, the connection is stable and requires no further inspection.

Installation is simple: crimp one side, tighten the other – and you have a safe, durable connection between two different technologies.
