Brass transition fitting connecting SC 22 mm pipe with 1/2" thread

This fitting is designed for direct connection of a Sanpress SC 22 mm pipe to a threaded installation with a 1/2 inch diameter. Manufactured from a single piece of bronze, without additional mounting components — simply press one side and tighten the other.

The EPDM (ethylene-propylene-diene) gasket ensures hermetic sealing without the need for additional sealing materials. Anti-rotation protection during installation guarantees joint stability, even with limited tool access.

A length of 47 mm enables compact installation in tight spaces — ideal for installations in walls, floors, or behind furniture. A working pressure of up to 16 bar at 20°C makes it safe for both hot water systems and high-pressure heating installations.

No welding or soldering is required. Installation is performed using the standard SC crimping tool — the same technology used with other Viega Sanpress system components. The threaded connection is standard Rp (parallel), compatible with most valves, radiators, and fittings available on the market.

All water-contacting components are made of bronze — no other metals are present that could affect water quality or cause galvanic corrosion. The EPDM gasket is resistant to temperatures up to 95°C and chemical exposure; it does not degrade under the influence of chlorine or other cleaning agents used in sanitary installations.

This fitting is part of the Sanpress SC system and is compatible only with pipes of the same system. It is not suitable for copper, PE-X, or other pipe types. Precise preparation of the pipe end is required: perpendicular cutting, removal of the oxide layer, and proper insertion into the coupling.
