Transition fitting between press-fit system and tapered thread

The 2311 Sanpress fitting, made of stainless steel 316 (1.4401), connects a 28 mm diameter pipe to a 3/4 inch external tapered thread (NPT). This one-piece component requires no additional gaskets or threaded assembly—simply press one side, while the other side is ready for connection to a traditional threaded fitting.

The EPDM (ethylene-propylene-diene monomer rubber) gasket ensures a hermetic seal without the need for paste or tape, while remaining resistant to temperatures and chemicals commonly encountered in water installations. The hexagonal shape of the coupling allows for easy and secure gripping with a wrench during installation—it does not slip, even under higher torque.

The component length is 57 mm, providing sufficient space for press-fitting tools while minimizing the risk of flow disturbances. The working pressure of up to 16 bar at 20°C makes it suitable for both domestic hot water installations and high-pressure heating systems.

There is no drain valve or air vent—it is a clean, simple transition. This means: no added failure points, no maintenance required, and no flow disruption. Ideal for connecting modern press-fit systems to existing threaded installations—for example, when connecting a boiler, water heater, or safety valve.

Installation is simple: press the pipe into the coupling, then tighten the thread onto the corresponding component. There is no need to cut the pipe longer than usual—the 57 mm length allows for compact installation even in tight spaces. No deburring, no soldering, no pipe threading—just press and rotate.

Everything is made of stainless steel 316—corrosion-resistant, suitable for potable water and aggressive environments. It does not yellow, rust, or require additional coatings.
