Transition fitting with crimped pipe end and internal thread

The fitting is made of stainless steel 316 (1.4401) – both in the crimped and threaded sections – ensuring corrosion resistance even in aggressive environments, such as water supply systems with elevated chloride content or district heating systems. The material guarantees long-term durability without the need for replacement, reducing maintenance costs.

The SC-Contur crimped connection is compatible with pipes having an outer diameter of 28 mm, while the internal thread Rp 3/4 (metric) allows direct connection to valves, radiators, or other components with external threads. The use of an EPDM seal (ethylene-propylene-diene) ensures tightness at temperatures ranging from -40°C to +95°C – without risk of loss of elasticity or cracking due to cyclic temperature changes.

A working pressure of up to 16 bar at 20°C makes the fitting suitable for both district heating systems and high-pressure potable water installations. It does not include a drain valve or air vent – it is a pure connecting element, simplifying installation and eliminating the risk of incorrect connection.

With a length of 51 mm and a uniform one-piece construction (no screws), the fitting allows easy installation in confined spaces – no additional tools are required beyond the SC-Contur press. The hexagonal shape enables wrench tightening when disassembly or inspection is necessary.

Compliant with standards for Sanpress Inox systems – certified for use in water supply and heating installations. No additional surface treatment is required before installation – the surface is already degreased and ready for crimping.
