Transition fitting with SC-Contur compression sleeve and gas thread

This fitting connects a 28 mm copper pipe to a 1¼ inch external BSPP thread — without the need for welding or threading. The SC-Contur compression sleeve ensures a leak-tight connection via pressing, while the gas thread (R 1¼) allows direct connection to valves, regulators, or other components with cylindrical threads. All in a single, one-piece construction.

Construction and sealing

The fitting body is made of bronze — a corrosion-resistant material suitable for water and gas installations. The EPDM rubber seal is integrated and requires no additional replacement. It is resistant to temperatures from -40°C to +120°C, as well as to chlorine and other substances present in drinking water. The hexagonal shape enables easy tightening with wrenches, even in hard-to-reach locations.

Application and operating conditions

Intended for water supply, heating, and gas installations — meets requirements for drinking water and gas at pressures up to 16 bar at 20°C. A length of 58 mm minimizes the need for additional space during installation, and the one-piece design eliminates the risk of leaks between components. Installation requires only a pressing tool — no soldering, rivets, or adhesives are needed. All connections must be performed by authorized installers.
