Transition fitting between press-fit system and tapered thread

The Sanpress 2311 fitting connects an externally pressed pipe with a diameter of 18 mm to a 3/4 inch external tapered thread (NPT). It is made entirely of stainless steel 316 (1.4401) – both the body and the seal. This ensures corrosion resistance and compliance with requirements for water supply and sanitary systems where material quality is critical.

The EPDM (ethylene-propylene-diene) seal ensures tightness at pressures up to 16 bar at 20°C. There is no drain valve or air vent – this is a pure, one-piece transition fitting designed for permanent connection.

The length is 55 mm, and the wrench size on the nut is 27 mm. Installation is simple: press the SC-Contur onto the pipe and tighten the NPT thread – no additional tools are required beyond the pressing tool set and a wrench for the thread. There is no need for paste or tape, as the seal is integrated and does not wear during installation.

Please note: this component is not intended to change the pipe diameter – only to transfer the connection from one type to another. It is ideal where the SC-Contur installation meets equipment or fittings equipped with an NPT thread – e.g., boiler, pump, safety valve.

There are no plastic components or materials other than stainless steel and EPDM. This is not a "cheap" adapter – it is a system component that lasts as long as the pipe.
