The fitting is made of stainless steel 316 (1.4401) in both the pressed and threaded sections—no difference in material quality. This is not merely a coating or an internal insert: the entire construction is homogeneous, eliminating the risk of corrosion at the joint, even during prolonged contact with aggressive media.

The EPDM seal is pre-installed and requires no additional assembly—there is no need to search for or order separate seals. This rubber is resistant to temperatures up to 110°C and is suitable for both hot water and heating systems. It does not degrade under the influence of chlorine or other disinfectants, making it safe for drinking water installations.

The press connection operates with the SC-Contur system: if not properly pressed, the error will be visible during the first filling of the installation—you do not have to wait for a failure to detect a mistake. This is not an “extra” feature; it is a safety mechanism that changes the way installation control is performed.

The internal thread Rp 1/2 (metric) allows direct connection of valves, radiators, or other components with tapered threads—without the need for additional adapters or reducers. Everything connects “by hand,” without additional failure points.

The length of 49 mm and the outer pipe diameter of 22 mm are standard for the Sanpress Inox system—it fits pipes of the same diameter already present in your installation. No further adjustment or re-measurement is required.

Maximum working pressure of 16 bar at 20°C—not a theoretical value on paper. This is a VdS-confirmed rating for drinking water and heating systems. Suitable for use in both domestic water supply installations and industrial applications: from kitchens to production lines.
