Transition fitting with press coupling for 28 mm and Rp 1¼ thread

One-piece fitting designed to connect an SC-Contur pipe with an outer diameter of 28 mm to Rp 1¼ threaded components. One side features a press coupling requiring pressing with a Sanpress tool; the other side has an internal cylindrical BSPT thread (ISO 7-1), enabling direct connection to valves, radiators, or other components with internal threads. The construction is monolithic, with no separate elements.

The EPDM (ethylene-propylene-diene) seal is integrated and requires no separate assembly. There is no need to install it manually, eliminating the risk of twisting or damage during installation. The connection material is bronze—referred to in online sources as "silicon bronze"—indicating improved corrosion resistance and better machinability compared to traditional bronze.

The length is 56 mm—greater than in some similar-purpose models—facilitating installation in tight spaces and providing enhanced stability during pressing. Maximum working pressure: 16 bar at 20°C; operating temperature up to 105°C—sufficient for domestic hot water systems and underfloor heating.

The fitting complies with DVGW, KIWA, and VdS requirements, confirming its approval for use in potable water installations. Installation does not require thread cleaning or the application of thread sealant—only the appropriate Sanpress tool and SC-Contur pipe are needed. The thread is ready for use immediately after installation, without additional processing.

The surface is unfinished but resistant to water and temperature effects.
