Wall-mounted connector with SC 18 x 1/2" – stainless steel, press-fit

Sanpress Inox press-fit fitting with cylindrical internal thread Rp 1/2" (BSPT-Rp, ISO 7-1 / EN 10226-1) – designed for installation in water supply and heating systems using stainless steel pipes with an outer diameter of 18 mm.

The component has a fixed press-fitting working length: 22.6 mm, corresponding to the standard pressing depth for 18 mm pipes in the Viega Sanpress system. The connection thread is ready for direct connection of valves, radiators, or other components with Rp 1/2" thread.

The internal seal made of EPDM ensures leak-tightness at pressures up to 16 bar at 20°C – without the need for additional sealing. The mounting flange allows for safe and stable wall fixation, reducing stress on the pipes and eliminating the risk of displacement during installation.

The housing material is raw stainless steel – no coating, paint, or polishing. This means the surface retains its natural corrosion resistance and requires no special protection after installation. In practice: no painting is required, no moisture protection is needed – simply press-fit and connect correctly.

Installation requires only a Sanpress system pressing tool – no welding, threading, or pastes are needed. Everything is done mechanically: press-fit → leak-tight → operational.

For the installer:

• No need to check tightness after installation (hydraulic testing still recommended)
