Wall connector with damper and internal thread

The connector is made of stainless steel, designed for installation in water supply and heating systems with pipes of 22 mm diameter. It has a one-piece construction with an arc shape, allowing for smooth flow direction changes without the need for additional components.

On one side, it features a crimped fitting – ready for installation on a pipe compatible with the Sanpress system – and on the other, a cylindrical gas internal thread (BSPP-G), 1/2 inch. Both ends are made of the same stainless steel, ensuring material consistency and corrosion resistance in humid environments.

The built-in ethylene-propylene-diene (EPDM) seal ensures tightness at pressures up to 16 bar at 20°C. No additional sealing is required – simply crimp the pipe correctly and tighten the thread. It supports wall mounting thanks to a mounting flange that holds the component in a stable position and facilitates its fixation.

The use of this component is typical where a crimped pipe (e.g., from the Sanpress system) needs to be connected to a device or valve with an internal thread – e.g., a faucet, safety valve, radiator, or heat meter. It requires no welding or threading of the pipe – installation is quick and generates no sparks.

All components are compatible with the VIEGA Sanpress system. The material and seal meet the requirements for drinking water and heating installations. It contains no lead or other harmful substances – suitable for contact with drinking water.
