Battery balancer – extend the life of your batteries

The AKU PROTECT 24V balancer is a device designed for battery systems built from 12V cells connected in series. Its task is to maintain the balance of voltages of individual batteries, which translates to their better performance and longer life. It will be useful in installations using AGM, gel and LiFePO4 batteries.

Why is it worth using? In series systems, differences in the parameters of individual batteries (resulting from, for example, differences in the manufacturing process or operating temperature) lead to uneven loading. One battery works intensively, the other is undercharged. The AKU PROTECT balancer eliminates this problem by transferring excess energy from the cell with higher voltage to the one with lower voltage, bringing them to equalization.

The device starts working automatically when it detects a voltage difference between the batteries of only 20 mV. Thanks to this, the balancing process takes place smoothly and efficiently. It can be used in 24V, 36V, 48V and higher systems (multiples of 12V), adjusting the number of balancers to the configuration of the installation: one balancer for a 24V system, two for 36V, three for 48V, etc.

Installation and application:

The AKU PROTECT balancer is easy to install. It has three wires: red (positive pole of battery B), black (negative pole of battery A) and white (series connection between batteries A and B). It can be used both in new installations and as an element of modernization of existing battery systems. The device does not require special configuration and is ready to work immediately after connection.
