Air curtain – protection and comfort at every entrance
The VTS WING II W200 EC water air curtain is an advanced solution that effectively separates the building interior from the outside, minimizing heat loss and ensuring a comfortable temperature. The device combines energy-efficient EC motor technology with an efficient water heat exchanger, making it an ideal choice for both commercial and industrial facilities. Thanks to its universal mounting – horizontal or vertical – the WING II curtain will perfectly adapt to the specifics of each building.
Efficiency and savings in one device
Equipped with an EC (electronically commutated) motor, the WING II curtain is characterized by high energy efficiency, especially at variable rotational speeds. This translates to lower operating costs without compromising performance. The efficient two-row water heat exchanger allows for effective use of heat from the central heating installation, and the maximum heating power of 47 kW (at 90/70-20°C) ensures quick and effective air heating. The maximum air flow rate is 4400 m³/h, which guarantees the creation of an effective air barrier even with large door openings up to 2 meters wide.
Design and application
The WING II curtain is designed for easy installation and maintenance. Made of high-quality galvanized and powder-coated steel (RAL7016), it provides durable protection against corrosion and an aesthetic appearance. The possibility of horizontal or vertical mounting increases installation flexibility, and the compact dimensions allow the curtain to be used even in limited spaces. The device will be perfect in:
- warehouses
- sports facilities
- supermarkets
- stations
- gas stations
- airports
- hospitals
- office buildings
- shops
- sacral facilities
- hotels
- production facilities
Because the curtain limits air exchange through open exterior doors, it protects the building interior from the influx of cold air in winter and warm air in summer, as well as from insects and contaminants. This translates to improved comfort in the building and reduced heating and air conditioning costs.
