Backflow preventer – protection of the water supply network

This BABM type backflow preventer, with a 3/4 inch external threaded connection, is a key element protecting water installations from back contamination. This is particularly important in systems where there is a risk of media reversal, which can negatively affect the quality of drinking water or industrial processes. The design based on the BA family guarantees reliability and efficiency.

Construction and application

The BABM isolator consists of two check valves and an intermediate chamber. This construction creates an air gap in the event of backflow, effectively separating the supply zone from the drain zone. In addition, the valve has an integrated stainless steel, POM and brass drain valve, which facilitates control and maintenance. It is made of brass (body) and POM (check valves), which ensures durability and corrosion resistance. Designed for horizontal mounting, this isolator is used in installations using clean liquids – mainly water. The connection length is 201 mm.
