PP pipe for vertical drainage – a durable and lightweight alternative

Polypropylene (PP) pipe with an inner diameter of 425 mm and a length of 6 meters, designed for the construction of vertical drainage systems. It is characterized by high ring stiffness (SN2) thanks to its corrugated structure, which ensures the stability and durability of the installation. It is a spigotless solution, which simplifies assembly and minimizes the risk of leaks.

The pipe is made of polypropylene, a material resistant to corrosion and sewage. The black color makes it easy to identify and distinguish from other installation elements. Using a PP pipe is a compromise between strength and low weight – it is lighter than concrete or cast iron pipes, which facilitates transport and installation, especially at heights.

Construction features and application

The corrugated structure of the pipe increases its ring stiffness, allowing for safe use in vertical drainage systems. The lack of spigots eliminates potential places for the accumulation of impurities and facilitates visual inspection. The inner diameter of 425 mm makes the pipe suitable for draining large amounts of wastewater from multi-family buildings, industrial or commercial facilities.

The pipe with an outer diameter of 476 mm is compatible with seals and connecting elements available on the market. Assembly is carried out by connecting the elements using appropriate rubber seals or by welding (depending on the system). The low weight of the pipe (approx. 29 kg) facilitates installation work, and the smooth inner surface minimizes flow resistance of wastewater.
