90° elbow GZ Tigris M5 – reliability and easy installation. This elbow is made of brass and designed for connecting multilayer pipes of the Tigris M5 system. It allows changing the installation direction by 90 degrees, connecting a 20 mm diameter pipe with a 3/4 inch external thread. It is an essential element in the construction of hot and cold water installations, central heating and underfloor heating.

The Tigris M5 elbow is distinguished primarily by its innovative Acoustic Leak Alert (acoustic leak detection) function. Each uncompressed fitting signals its presence with a distinct whistle, which greatly facilitates and speeds up the leak tightness control process. This solution saves time and minimizes the risk of later problems related to leaks.

Construction and application

The elbow has a compression socket connection on one side and a tapered BSPT-R (ISO 7-1 / EN 10226-1) external gas thread on the other. Made of brass, it ensures durability and corrosion resistance. This makes the elbow ideal for use in demanding conditions, both in residential and commercial buildings.

The length of the elbow is 65 mm, and the outer diameter of the connecting pipe is 26.7 mm. The wrench size required for installation is 27 mm.
