Inspection chamber insert – tightness and durability of connections

This “in situ” insert is a key element in the assembly and modernization of WAVIN Tegra and Basic inspection chambers. It is used to create tight connections between pipes and chamber shafts, ensuring the reliability and long-term functionality of the sewage system. It is dedicated to pipes with a nominal diameter of DN 100 (110 mm outer diameter).

Construction and application

The insert made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC-U) with an SBR gasket guarantees resistance to corrosion and mechanical damage. Its construction allows for flexible adaptation to uneven terrain and minimizes the risk of leaks. It is intended for use with WAVIN Basic 315, Basic 400, Basic 425 and Tegra 425 pipe systems. Because it does not have a drain valve or air vent, it focuses on its primary function – a tight connection.
