The pipe's construction, consisting of PE-RT/Al/PE layers, guarantees high strength, corrosion resistance and minimal thermal expansion. Construction and properties

The Wavin Tigris pipe is characterized by a five-layer structure: the inner and outer layers made of polyethylene (PE-RT) provide flexibility and chemical resistance, and the central aluminum layer acts as an anti-diffusion barrier, preventing oxygen from penetrating the installation. The use of reinforced polyethylene (PE-RT) increases resistance to temperature and pressure, which translates into long-term system reliability. The layers are permanently bonded with special adhesives, creating a uniform and durable structure.
