Made of brass, it ensures durability and corrosion resistance. Its design allows for reducing the diameter from 25 mm to 20 mm and back to 25 mm, providing flexibility in installation design.

Fittings from the Wavin Tigris M5 series are distinguished by the innovative Acoustic Leak Alert function – an integrated acoustic leak detection system during air pressure tests. Thanks to this, each uncompressed fitting emits a clear sound (80 dB), making it easier to quickly identify the problem and ensuring the installation is correctly executed. This saves time and guarantees tightness for the installer, and peace of mind for the end user. Compatibility with the previous Tigris K1/M1 series allows for seamless use of existing tools and stocks.

Design and parameters ensuring safety

The reducing tee has a 90-degree angle and socket connections, making installation easier and ensuring a tight connection. Made of brass with wall thicknesses of 2.5 mm (connections 1 and 3) and 2.25 mm (connection 2), it guarantees resistance to operating pressure up to 10 bar at 20°C. Seals made of ethylene-propylene-diene monomer (EDPM) rubber provide additional protection against leaks. The use of Multi Jaw technology ensures a secure connection regardless of the jaw profile. Additionally, the tee has a support collar increasing connection stability.
