The Wilo-Emu KS 12 E submersible pump is a robust solution for removing dirty water, sludge and sewage. It is suitable for use on construction sites, in agricultural farms, and in domestic installations. Its construction based on durable materials guarantees a long service life even in difficult working conditions.

Design and application

The pump is designed to operate in a completely submerged mode, eliminating the need for additional protection against moisture. The motor housing (GG 25) and pump body made of cast iron provide resistance to corrosion and mechanical damage. The cast iron grey impeller effectively pumps liquids containing solids with a diameter of up to 40 mm. The intended use of the pump includes:

• Dewatering excavations and foundations
• Removal of sewage from septic tanks and settling tanks
• Removing water from flooded basements and utility rooms
• Working in agricultural irrigation systems
• Emptying tanks and wells

Performance and technical parameters

The Wilo-Emu KS 12 E offers a capacity of up to 27.74 m³/h and a maximum head of 13.52 m. The 1.8 kW (P1) motor provides stable operation even under heavy load. Electrical connection via a cable with a plug (230 V, 50 Hz) simplifies installation and operation. The IP68 degree of protection guarantees tightness and safety during operation in immersion. Additionally, the pump has a thermal motor protection, protecting against overheating. Insulation class F provides high temperature resistance. The Storz C discharge connection facilitates connection to pipes with a diameter of 50 mm. The nominal operating mode S1 means that the pump can operate continuously without risk of damage.
