The operation of a domestic sewage pumping station is based on fairly simple mechanisms. These devices are designed to collect and pump waste from a building and to transfer it to a collective sewage system (sewage treatment plant) or to raise it to a higher level.

In the initial phase, sewage is collected in a small container located at the lowest point of the sanitary installation. An electric submersible pump is installed there, the main task of which is to lift the sewage to a certain height of the tank - thanks to which it goes to the septic tank.
