The Zamel ASM-01 stairwell automation device is a reliable unit designed for automatic lighting control in public areas such as stairwells, corridors, and halls. Its main function is to switch on the light when motion is detected and automatically switch it off after a set time. This ensures comfort and safety for users, and also saves energy. The device is mounted on a TH-35 rail, which simplifies installation and integration with existing electrical infrastructure.

Functionality and application

The ASM-01 automation device is not limited to stairwell lighting control. It can also be used as a time relay with delayed shutdown in various applications. Smooth adjustment of the on-time in the range of 10 seconds to 10 minutes allows the device to be adapted to individual needs and user preferences. Thanks to its cooperation with single-pole illuminated buttons, it provides intuitive operation. The device's design allows it to work with both 3- and 4-wire networks, increasing its versatility. An LED indicator signals the power supply status and relay operation, which facilitates diagnostics and device monitoring.

Construction and parameters

The device is characterized by a compact, single-module housing with a degree of protection of IP20, which ensures safe use under normal operating conditions. The maximum switching capacity for incandescent bulbs is 2000 W, and for fluorescent lamps – 500 VA (750 VA with DUO compensation and 1000 VA with parallel compensation). The 230 V AC relay output can handle a load of up to 16 A / 4000 VA. The operating temperature of the device is in the range of -20°C to +45°C, which guarantees its reliable operation in various environmental conditions. The width of the device is 90 mm, the height is 17.5 mm, and the depth is 66 mm, and its weight is only 73 g – which makes it easy to install even in tight spaces.
