Modular contactor – reliable load control

This Zamel STM-25-40/S modular contactor is designed for automation and control in home and industrial installations. Its main task is to safely and efficiently switch on and off electrical receivers with higher current consumption, using low-voltage signals. The contactor's construction provides galvanic isolation between the control circuit and the load, which increases the safety of the entire system.

Functionality and application

The STM-25-40/S contactor features a 4xNO (normally open) contact arrangement, providing great flexibility in circuit configuration. The maximum load current is 25A for AC5b and AC7a categories, making it an ideal solution for controlling various devices such as heating, lighting or simple automation systems. Additionally, the presence of a lever allows for manual switching on and off of the contactor – useful especially during maintenance or power failure. The ability to cooperate with SPM-05-11 and SPM-05-20 auxiliary contacts expands the functionality of the device, allowing for the implementation of more advanced control solutions.

Mounting and compatibility

Mounting the contactor is simple and intuitive – just place it on a standard TH35 rail. Compact dimensions (85 mm x 54 mm x 66 mm) allow for installation in a limited space of the switchboard. The device is characterized by high quality workmanship and durability, which guarantees reliable operation for a long time. IP20 protection class provides protection against accidental contact, but does not protect against the effects of water or dust – therefore, remember to install it in a dry and well-ventilated place.
