The Zehnder Terraline channel heater with natural convection is the ideal solution for those who value aesthetics and efficiency. Mounted in the floor, it is nearly invisible, serving as a discreet element of the heating system while providing comfortable warmth throughout the room. It performs exceptionally well in spaces with large glazing, creating an effective air curtain that minimizes heat loss. The construction, based on a steel casing and an aluminum-copper heat exchanger, ensures reliability and high performance.

Construction and Application

The Terraline heater consists of a casing made from high-quality galvanized and powder-coated steel, providing excellent corrosion resistance and durability. The heat exchanger, manufactured from copper and aluminum, offers superior thermal conductivity, enabling rapid and even room heating. The unit operates via natural convection—warm air rises, distributing heat uniformly throughout the space. Maximum operating pressure is 10 bar, with an operating temperature of 110°C. A heating output of 779W (at ΔT=50°C) ensures thermal comfort even on colder days.

Terraline heaters are widely applicable—from public buildings to private homes. They excel in spaces with extensive glazing, where traditional radiators might obstruct light or disrupt interior design. Thanks to the possibility of connecting multiple units into longer runs and custom sizing, they can be perfectly adapted to any interior.

Note: The grille for the Terraline heater is available as a separate order—since April 1, 2020, it is no longer included as standard. Also available are J-type and L-type frames (so-called “parquet overlay”) tailored to different floor finishes.
