Butterfly valve DN50 FIG.497B 497B050C67
Cast iron gate valve DN50 – reliable shut-off in installations
This gate valve, made of GGG 40 cast iron, is a solid solution for shutting off flow in various industrial installations. Designed for use with non-aggressive media, it finds application in both cold and hot water systems, as well as in air and heating installations. Its construction based on flanged connections ensures easy assembly and disassembly, which is particularly important during servicing.
Construction and practical application
The gate valve is characterized by a pressure class of PN 16, which means it can withstand a working pressure of up to 16 bar. Made of GGG 40 cast iron, it guarantees mechanical strength and corrosion resistance. The EPDM seal ensures a tight and reliable connection. A coating of epoxy paint RAL5002 with a thickness of 150 microns provides additional protection against external factors.
The application of the gate valve includes:
- industrial installations of cold and hot water and air – ideal for isolating individual sections of the installation during maintenance or repair;
- industrial heating installations – allows isolation of fragments of the heating system;
- marine industry – resistance to harsh environmental conditions;
- energy and process technology – reliable shut-off in critical points of the installation;
- other non-aggressive media – versatility of application.
The gate valve meets the standards EN 12266-1 (sealing class A) and EN 558 (mounting length), and also has flanges compliant with EN 1092-2 (PN10/PN16). This ensures its compatibility with existing systems and safe use. Additionally, the materials used in production are environmentally friendly.
