Mesh filter – reliable installation protection

The 821A mesh filter is a solid solution for protecting installations from mechanical contamination. Made of gray cast iron, it provides durability and corrosion resistance, and the stainless steel insert guarantees effective retention of impurities. The design allows for easy cleaning of the filter without the need for disassembly from the network, which translates to minimal downtime of the installation.

This filter finds application in a wide range of installations – from hot and cold water systems, through steam installations, to industrial technologies, heating, refrigeration and air conditioning. It meets the requirements of EN-12266-1 standard and has flanges drilled according to EN 1092-2 standard. Installation length compliant with EN 558-1 series 1.

Construction and materials:

The filter body is made of high-quality gray cast iron (Material grade: Cast iron GG 25 (GJL-250)), which ensures strength and pressure resistance. The filter insert is made of stainless steel and effectively stops mechanical impurities. The gasket is made of a material that ensures the tightness of the connections. The filter has a flanged connection with a nominal diameter of DN50 and a pressure class of PN16. The cover is fastened with screws, which facilitates access to the filter insert during maintenance.

The mesh size of 1 mm (45 meshes/cm²) provides optimal filtration for many applications. The maximum operating temperature of the filter is 300°C, which allows it to be used in installations with elevated medium temperatures. The filter is designed to operate at a nominal pressure of PN 16. Thanks to this, it constitutes a reliable protective barrier for installation elements exposed to damage caused by contaminants.
