Construction and application

The suction basket features a robust design based on gray iron EN-GJL-250 coated with an epoxy layer. Both the check valve flap and cover are also made of gray iron, while the flap seal is made of EPDM, ensuring tightness and reliability. The internal screen, manufactured from AISI304 (1.4301) stainless steel, captures contaminants, protecting other system components. Thus, the suction basket not only draws the medium but also functions as a pre-filter.

The device is designed for flange mounting PN10 in accordance with EN 1092-2. It can be used in systems with operating temperatures up to +80°C (the basket itself is rated up to 200°C).
