Suction basket with check valve – a reliable component for installations
The suction basket with check valve FIG.935 DN 50 PN10 is a critical component in installations, ensuring efficient medium extraction from tanks and preventing backflow. The basket’s design, combined with the check valve, guarantees stable and safe system operation. This solution is ideal for both installers and end users seeking a reliable and durable component.
Construction and materials – long-term durability
The suction basket features a robust construction made of gray cast iron EN GJL-250, providing high resistance to corrosion and mechanical damage. The body is additionally coated with an epoxy coating, enhancing its durability and resistance to aggressive chemical agents. Both the check valve stem and cover are also manufactured from gray cast iron EN GJL-250. The stem seal, made of EPDM, ensures tightness and reliable operation. The internal screen, made of AISI304 (1.4301) stainless steel, filters the medium, protecting the system from contaminants.
Applications and compatibility
The suction basket FIG.935 is designed for use in hot and cold water systems, as well as systems utilizing neutral fluids such as glycol. It can be installed between flanges with nominal pressure ratings PN10-40. The maximum operating temperature is +80°C. This makes it suitable for a wide range of residential and industrial applications—from central heating systems to industrial cooling installations.
- Versatility: Suitable for hot water, cold water, and glycol-based systems.
- Durability: Constructed from high-quality gray cast iron with an epoxy coating, ensuring long-term protection against corrosion and mechanical damage.
- Safety: The check valve prevents medium backflow, safeguarding system components from damage.
- Easy installation: Designed for flange mounting (PN10-40), facilitating seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
- Contaminant protection: Built-in stainless steel screen filters the medium, protecting the system from damage caused by solid particles.
- Standards compliance: Manufactured in accordance with EN 1092-2 (flanges) and EN GJL-250 (cast iron).
