The cable contains 144 single-mode (SM) fibers of type OS2 with a diameter of 9/125 μm. The cable core consists of a central strength element surrounded by loose tubes filled with gel or hydrophobic fleece – this provides protection against moisture. The whole is protected by plastic, aramid fibers (anti-rodent protection) and a PE coating resistant to UV radiation. The green tube serves as a directional function inside the cable. Length marking every 1 meter facilitates identification and precise cutting of the cable during installation.
