This versatile OS2 fiber optic cable is designed for a wide range of applications – both indoors and outdoors. Its construction, based on single-mode (SM) 12J 9/125 fibers, ensures reliable data transmission over long distances, making it ideal for telecommunication networks, data transmission systems, and FTTH and FTTx connections. The cable is distinguished by its high resistance to external factors and meets stringent safety standards.

Safety and durability first

The cable is made of high-quality materials, guaranteeing its durability and reliability. The optical fibers are protected from moisture thanks to the use of a water-swelling material and protected from mechanical damage by aramid fibers. Additionally, the LSOH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) jacket ensures safety in the event of a fire – it limits smoke emission and does not contain harmful halogens. It meets the requirements of Euroclass B2ca according to EN 50575:2014 + A1:2016 and regulation CPR 305/2011, making it an ideal choice for buildings with high safety requirements, such as hospitals or public buildings.

Construction and technical parameters

The cable has a single-tube ZW-NOTKtsdD (U-DQ(ZN)BH) construction, which facilitates its processing and fiber splicing. The tube contains up to 24 fibers, color-coded for quick identification. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 6.1 mm, and its weight is approximately 48 kg for the 12-fiber version. The fibers are made according to the G.652.D and G.657.A standards, ensuring compatibility with most network devices. The cable is resistant to UV radiation and has high resistance to crushing and stretching. The minimum bending radius during installation is 50 mm. Additionally, the cable is designed to operate in a wide temperature range – from -40°C to +70°C.
