This freestanding lightning rod mast on a tripod, with a height of 3000 mm, made of stainless steel, is a key element of a system protecting against the effects of lightning strikes. Designed to protect buildings and metal roof elements, it effectively dissipates direct electrical charge to the down conductor network. Construction and Application

The set includes a stainless steel needle, a concrete counterweight, washers, and a connection for the conductor – everything necessary for correct installation and system operation. This mast is used wherever protection against lightning strikes is required, minimizing the risk of damage and ensuring safety. This is particularly important for objects exposed to direct lightning strikes.

The mast has been tested in accordance with PN-EN 62651-1, which guarantees its compliance with European safety standards. The connecting elements of the mast are able to transfer an impact current of up to 200kA – this is confirmed by the SEP - BBJ Lublin certificate and allows it to be used in lightning protection systems of class I. This translates to a higher level of safety for protected objects.

Manufactured from 304 (V2A) stainless steel, it provides corrosion resistance and long-lasting construction, even in harsh weather conditions. The lack of high-voltage insulation is typical for this type of solution – the task of the mast is to discharge the energy of lightning into the ground, not to insulate it.
