This U/UTP Cat. 5e cable, made with stranded wire technology, is an ideal solution for both professional installers and end users. Designed for creating patch cords, it provides solid and flexible connections in computer networks, CCTV monitoring systems, and other telecommunications applications. The cable is supplied on a drum with a length of 305 meters, making it easy to transport and install.

Construction and application

This cable is characterized by a stranded construction – instead of solid wires, each pair of wires consists of seven thin copper conductors. This provides much greater flexibility than traditional solid wire cables, making it easier to route cables in tight spaces and minimizing the risk of damage during installation. This is especially important when creating patch cords, which are often bent and manipulated. The cable is unshielded (U/UTP), which means there is no additional protection against electromagnetic interference – therefore, it is important to avoid laying it near sources of interference.

Category 5e guarantees data transmission speeds up to 1000 Mbps (Gigabit Ethernet), allowing for comfortable work with modern network applications. This makes the cable suitable for home LANs, offices, and IP monitoring systems.
