Cat.5e U/UTP Cable – Solid Connection for Your Network

This U/UTP Category 5e cable is a reliable solution for building telecommunication networks. Made of copper, with a stranded construction, it provides flexibility and ease of installation, especially when creating patch cords. It is ideal for connections between computers, routers, switches, or IP CCTV cameras.

The cable is designed for indoor installations – in ducts, pipes, cable channels, and even under plaster. Its green color facilitates identification in cable routes. Thanks to its Fca class, it meets the requirements for fire resistance, increasing installation safety.

Construction and application

The cable consists of four pairs of twisted copper conductors, stranded with a cross-section of 4x2x26/7 AWG. The stranded construction makes the cable more flexible than traditional solid core cables, making it easier to route and connect. The lack of shielding (U/UTP) requires caution during installation – the cable should be routed away from sources of electromagnetic interference.

Category 5e guarantees data transmission speeds up to 1000 Mbps (Gigabit Ethernet). Compliance with the PoE+ standard (IEEE 802.3at) enables powering devices such as VoIP phones, WiFi access points, and IP cameras directly through the network cable – without the need for additional power supplies. The maximum permissible length of the power line is 100m.
