Mounting and safety of electrical installations

The ZK10 clamp is a reliable solution for securing rods to I-beams, angle bars and other structural elements. Made of galvanically zinc-coated steel forging (OSG), this product provides a solid and durable connection, crucial for the safety and stability of the installation. A version made of steel zinc-coated by immersion (F) compliant with PN-EN ISO 1461:2023-02 is also available – ideal for applications requiring increased corrosion resistance.

Functionality and compliance with standards

The ZK10 clamp meets the requirements of the E90 operational reliability system according to DIN 4102-12. This means it provides at least 90 minutes of operational reliability of devices in the building in the event of a fire. This is particularly important for fire alarm systems, fire alarm systems and emergency lighting installations, where reliable operation is critical.

Installation and use

Installation of the ZK10 clamp is simple and intuitive:

• Pre-tighten the clamp screw by hand to the steel structure.

• Tighten the screw with a wrench by 1/2 turn (180°).

• Lock the screw with a lock nut.

• Finish mounting the clamp by tightening the screw with a wrench by 1/8 turn (45°).

This mounting method guarantees optimal tension and a stable connection, minimizing the risk of the clamp loosening during operation. Precise tightening ensures even distribution of forces and protects the structure from damage.
