Tee cover – protection and functionality

The Tee cover PTKDJ100 is an element of a cable tray system, designed for comprehensive cable protection. It protects cables from dust accumulation, mechanical damage and the negative effects of weather conditions, including UV radiation. Made of steel with a thickness of 1.0 mm, coated with a hot-dip galvanized coating, it guarantees durability and corrosion resistance. The cover width is 100 mm, ensuring compatibility with appropriate cable tray sizes.

Safety and compliance with standards

The PTKDJ100 cover meets the requirements of the E90 fire resistance system according to DIN 4102-12. This means that in the event of a fire, it ensures at least 90 minutes of uninterrupted operation of devices such as fire alarm systems, fire alarm and evacuation lighting – particularly important in buildings equipped with water sprinklers.

Materials and manufacturing options

The cover is standardly made of Sendzimir galvanized steel (S) according to PN-EN 10346:2015-09. Additionally, custom-made options are available:

• F – hot-dip galvanized steel (PN-EN ISO 1461:2023-02) – provides even higher corrosion resistance.
• L – powder coating in a standard RAL palette – allows you to match the color to the surroundings.
• E – stainless steel – ideal for use in aggressive environments.

To ensure stable mounting, it is recommended to use additional clips.
