Cable junction box cover – protection and durability of cable installations

The junction box cover PTKDJ300 is an element of cable routing systems, designed to secure connections of tees. Made of durable steel, coated with hot-dip galvanizing, it provides effective protection against mechanical damage, corrosion and weathering. Sheet thickness of 1.0 mm guarantees solidity and long-term operation. The product meets the requirements of E-90, which means maintaining functionality for at least 90 minutes in the event of a fire – crucial in fire protection installations.

Design and application

The cover is intended for use with cable trays, providing a tight seal and preventing dust accumulation inside the installation. A width of 300 mm makes it compatible with popular tray sizes. Installation is quick and easy, and the additional use of clips (recommended) increases connection stability and safety. It is possible to make the cover from zinc-coated steel by immersion or painted in a standard RAL palette, as well as from stainless steel – on request.
