Cover for cable trays – protection and installation durability

The 45° internal arc cover is a component of the cable tray system, designed to protect cables from mechanical damage and external environmental factors. Made of steel, it provides robust protection for electrical and telecommunications installations. Its design, with a 45-degree bend angle, perfectly matches curved sections of cable trays, creating a tight and aesthetically pleasing connection.

Construction and materials

The cover is manufactured from steel, ensuring high strength and corrosion resistance. The sheet thickness is 2.0 mm, guaranteeing stability and durability. Available variants include: hot-dip galvanized steel (in accordance with PN-EN ISO 1461:2023-02), stainless steel (upon request), and painted version in standard RAL color (upon request). Hot-dip galvanizing provides excellent anti-corrosion protection, especially critical in harsh environmental conditions.

Application and installation

This cover is intended for use with 500 mm wide cable trays. Each unit features technological holes, essential during the hot-dip galvanizing process. When ordering the cover alone, ensure compatibility with the specific tray profile—please provide its symbol or catalog number. Using arc covers not only protects cables but also enhances the aesthetic appearance of the installation and reduces dust and dirt accumulation inside the tray.
