Junction and branching box – reliability and safety of installation

Metal junction and branching box PMO2(5/6) is an element designed for safe and durable connection of electrical wires. It finds application in both professional and home installations where high resistance to external factors and maintaining efficiency in emergency situations are required. The box meets the E90 standard, which means it ensures maintaining the function of connections for at least 90 minutes in the event of a fire – crucial for alarm, evacuation and fire protection systems.

Construction and application

Made of galvanized steel, powder-coated in RAL 2003 color, the PMO2(5/6) box is characterized by high mechanical strength and corrosion resistance. Its dimensions – 127 mm wide, 58 mm deep and 127 mm long – allow for comfortable installation and access to connections. The IP65 protection class guarantees tightness against dust and water, which allows it to be used both indoors and outdoors. The box is adapted for mounting using external mounting brackets to concrete or cable trays.

The PMO2(5/6) box is compatible with M32 screw cable glands, allowing for flexible adaptation to different cable diameters. Inside there are ceramic terminal blocks made of high-temperature resistant ceramics and glands made of halogen-free plastic – ensuring safety and durability of connections.
