This flanged connector RK-E DN250 is a solution for fast, safe and effective repair or connection of pipelines. It will work both in water supply installations and during service work. Its versatility allows connecting different materials – steel, cast iron, asbestos cement or PVC – with flanged fittings. The connector design ensures a solid and durable connection, minimizing the risk of leaks and failures.

Construction and application

The RK-E connector consists of three main elements: a body made of spheroidal cast iron, a clamping cover and a conical elastomer seal. Spheroidal cast iron (EN-GJS 500-7) guarantees resistance to pressure and corrosion, and the clamping cover ensures a tight connection. The EPDM seal (operating temperature 0-75°C) adapts to the shape of the pipes, eliminating the need for precise dimensioning. The flanged connection compliant with PN-EB 1092-2 standard facilitates assembly and integration with existing infrastructure.

Operating parameters and construction

The RK-E DN250 connector is designed to operate at a nominal pressure of up to 1.6 MPa. The body and cover are coated with epoxy paint RAL 5005, which further protects them against corrosion. Pipe deflection up to 3” allows compensation for small shifts and stresses in the pipeline. The weight of the connector for DN250 diameter is 27.3 kg. A sanitary certificate valid until June 2026 confirms the safety of use in contact with drinking water.
