Design and Application

The RK-E coupling is designed to connect PE pipes with a diameter of DN50 to elements equipped with a flange connection. It is suitable for water supply networks with a nominal pressure of up to 1.6 MPa. Its versatility allows it to be used in connections of steel, cast iron, asbestos-cement and PVC pipes with flanged fittings. The coupling construction consists of a solid body and a clamping cover, sealed with an elastomeric gasket – guaranteeing a tight and reliable connection.

Materials and Strength

The body and cover of the coupling are made of high-quality ductile iron (EN-GJS 500-7), which ensures high mechanical strength and resistance to loads. An epoxy coating RAL 5005 protects against corrosion, increasing the product's lifespan even in harsh environmental conditions. The flexible EPDM gasket ensures tightness in the temperature range from 0°C to 75°C. The flange connection complies with the PN-EB 1092-2 standard, guaranteeing compatibility with other installation elements.
