The RR-E DN250 connector is a solid solution for repairing or joining pipelines, especially those made of polyethylene (PE). Its pipe-to-pipe design ensures a leak-proof and durable connection, minimizing the risk of leaks. It is an indispensable element both during failures and when expanding existing installations.

Construction and materials

Made of ductile iron EN-GJS 500-7, the connector is characterized by high resistance to pressure and mechanical damage. The body and compression cover are coated with epoxy paint RAL 5005, which provides corrosion resistance and long-term protection against external factors. The EPDM elastomer seal guarantees tightness in the temperature range from 0°C to 75°C. Additionally, brass clamping rings effectively prevent the pipe from slipping out of the connector, increasing safety and connection stability.

Application and compatibility

This connector is designed for water supply networks with a nominal pressure of up to 1.6 MPa. It will work in connections of PE pipes, but can also be used to connect steel, cast iron, asbestos-cement and PVC pipelines with flanged fittings. It allows for quick repair of damage without having to replace the entire section of the pipeline – which translates into saving time and costs. Pipe deflection up to 3” additionally facilitates installation in difficult conditions.
