Stainless Steel 316L Mesh Cable Tray, Designed for Aggressive Environments
Made of stainless steel 316L (1.4404), this corrosion-resistant cable tray withstands acids, salts, and chemical agents – ideal for installations in industrial and hygienic facilities (e.g., food processing, pharmaceuticals), coastal areas, or environments with high cleanliness requirements. The surface undergoes pickling and passivation, enhancing oxidation resistance and maintaining long-term aesthetics without additional treatment.
The U-shaped profile with dimensions 54x100 mm provides ample space for wires and cables while maintaining a lightweight structure. The usable cross-section is 5143 mm², allowing free routing of large cable quantities without congestion. Each segment has a length of 3000 mm, facilitating installation over long runs without the need for multiple joints.
A unit weight of 0.756 kg/m ensures easy transport and installation – it does not overload supporting structures while remaining sufficiently rigid to maintain its shape under cable load. It features no built-in partitions or connectors; it is a basic component that can be easily adapted to the system using additional supporting elements.
Operating temperature range from -20°C to +120°C enables use in both cool technical rooms and areas with elevated temperatures, such as boiler rooms or near heat-generating machinery. It does not maintain functionality during a fire (no E30/E90 classification) and is therefore not intended for fire-resistance applications.
Note: This is not a fire-protected cable tray – however, if you require durability in humid, chemically aggressive, or hygiene-critical conditions, this 316L steel guarantees performance for decades.
