Cable tray CF 54/50, 54x50mm, stainless steel 316L, E90 system /3m/ CM000064
Application in Harsh Environmental Conditions
The 50x54 mm wire mesh cable tray, manufactured from 316L stainless steel (alloy 1.4404), is a solution dedicated to installations where standard galvanized steel does not meet corrosion resistance requirements. Thanks to the use of an alloy with high molybdenum content, this construction exhibits significant resistance to chemical attacks and moisture, making it an ideal choice for production halls, chemical plants, marine facilities, or areas with aggressive atmospheres. The surface has undergone pickling and passivation processes, which not only improve aesthetics but, above all, create a protective layer that hinders rust formation at wire mesh intersections.
Construction and Mechanical Properties
The product features a U-profile with a length of 3000 mm and a self-weight of approximately 0.61 kg per running meter. This material density ensures structural rigidity while maintaining low weight, facilitating installation even over longer distances without the need for excessively frequent supports. The usable cross-section of the tray is 2558 mm², allowing for the free laying of cables with medium cross-sections or extensive bundles of control wires. The absence of built-in partitions in the model without a connector gives the installer full flexibility in cable routing – it can be easily adapted to the specific needs of the cable route, or separate partitions can be purchased additionally if circuit separation is required.
Operating Conditions and Installation
The operating temperature range from -20°C to +120°C allows the tray to be used both in unheated warehouse halls and near heat-generating equipment. However, it should be noted that this product does not possess a fire integrity certificate (E30/E90 system) and therefore should not be used as the primary evacuation route for cables requiring fire protection in critical safety systems. Installation follows the standard Cablofil system procedure – thanks to its open mesh construction, it ensures excellent cable ventilation, preventing overheating under load.
