Reducing tee for copper installations

This reducing tee from Conex Bänninger's B Press series is a reliable solution for connecting copper pipes of different diameters in water and heating installations. It allows connecting a 42 mm diameter pipe to a 28 mm diameter pipe, and then returning to a 42 mm diameter, making it an ideal element in complex installation systems. Made of high-quality oxygen-free copper, it ensures durability and corrosion resistance.

Design and application

The tee is designed for the B Press pressing system, which guarantees quick and leak-proof installation without the need for welding. The use of a clamping sleeve on all three connections facilitates installation and minimizes the risk of leaks. A bending angle of 90 degrees allows for precise routing of the installation in tight spaces. This element is particularly useful when creating branches in installations where a change in pipe diameter is required.

Material and quality of workmanship

Conex B Press fittings are made of Cu-DHP copper with a purity of 99.99%, deoxidized with phosphorus in accordance with PN EN 1254. Additionally, bronze CuSn5Zn5Pb2-C (CC499K-DW) compliant with PN EN 1982 is used. This combination of materials ensures high mechanical strength and corrosion resistance, which translates to a long service life of the installation. Production takes place in Spain and Poland, which demonstrates high standards of quality control. The weight of the tee is approximately 0.44 kg, and its dimensions are 5 x 8.2 x 11.1 cm – compact dimensions facilitate installation even in hard-to-reach places.
