Main switch assembly with hasp lock and NEMA 4X/12 protection

Ready left‑hand 3‑pole switch assembly, designed for installation in NZM3, PN3 or N(S)3 systems. Intended for stations where a solid mechanical disconnect lock is required — e.g., during maintenance, repairs or in facilities with safety regulation.

The rotary handle clearly indicates the device state: position “0” means OFF, “I” — ON. The ability to lock this position with up to three hasps makes the device meet lock‑out/tag‑out procedure requirements without additional accessories. The lock operates at the handle mechanism level — there are no electronic components or automatic re‑engagement locks.

The housing complies with NEMA 4X and 12 standards — resistant to dust, spray water, washing and corrosion. This is crucial for industrial installations: in humid areas, outdoors or where frequent washing is required. The black colour is not only aesthetic — it minimizes the visibility of dirt and matches typical control cabinets.

The assembly can be used both as a main switch and a disconnect — no need to order separate components. Installation is flexible thanks to the modular approach: an extending shaft NZM..-XV4 can be added for easier external control, or an external warning plate (black‑yellow symbol) or information plate in German or English can be attached.

If additional touch protection on the power side is required — a finger protection option (IP2X) is available, to be ordered separately. There is no key lock nor emergency stop function — this device is intended solely for manual operation by personnel.
