Power disconnect LN4-800-I is a three‑pole device permanently mounted, intended for isolating circuits in distribution boards. It operates at voltages up to 690 V AC with a rated continuous current of 800 A — without the need for de‑rating up to 50 °C. It is designed to serve as an emergency stop switch — allowing manual, rapid power disconnection in urgent situations — and as a maintenance disconnect, guaranteeing physical separation of the circuit before service work.

The lever‑operated switching mechanism is equipped with a detent that locks the “off” position and prevents accidental re‑closing during maintenance. Main connections are pin‑type, eliminating the need for additional clamps and facilitating direct, reliable connection to busbars or large‑section conductors. Front‑side IP20 protection provides basic protection against touch and foreign objects.

Intermediate mounting is supported — it can be installed on a flat surface or with a mounting plate. Front central or 4‑hole mounting is not possible — the device lacks the required openings or brackets. It has no built‑in motor drive, but supports an optional drive, enabling remote control using accessories from the LN/NZM/LZM series. An optional voltage release can be added to an automation system — e.g., for automatic disconnection on loss of voltage.

It has no auxiliary contacts (neither normally closed, nor normally open, nor switching), so it does not generate control signals without additional accessories. Rated operating power at 400 V AC is 450 kW — sufficient for high‑power motors and heavy industrial loads. Short‑circuit current withstand capability is 100 kA (Iq) and 25 kA (Icw), meaning resistance to fault currents even in large installations without risk of device damage.

Dimensions: 210 mm (width) × 207 mm (height) × 401 mm (depth). The control‑element colour — gray — is standard for the Eaton series.

It is compatible with the complete range of LN/NZM/LZM series accessories: mechanical locks for various devices, extension shafts for door drives, terminal covers or voltage releases — all compatible and available separately.
