Residual current circuit breaker PFIM PFIM-80/4/003-MW 235418
Residual Current Device (RCD) PFIM-80/4/003-MW is a four-pole device designed for protection against electric shock and fire in electrical installations. It reacts quickly to small current differences, i.e., leakage, disconnecting the power supply in case of a fault. This is crucial for ensuring the safety of users and protecting equipment.
Protection and functionality
The device with a rated current of 80A, designed to operate at 400V and 50Hz, effectively protects circuits against the effects of short circuits and overloads. AC sensitivity (0.03A) ensures that the switch reacts to alternating currents, which is standard in most electrical installations. Made of high-quality materials, it provides reliable operation even in difficult conditions – the operating temperature is in the range of -25 to 60°C, and the IP20 protection degree guarantees basic protection against solid objects.
Mounting is done on a DIN rail, which facilitates installation and integration with existing switchboards. The width of the device, 4 modules, allows for efficient use of space in the switchboard cabinet. Additionally, the switch has a mechanical lock, preventing accidental switching on after being switched off by the operation of the RCD.
Flexibility and expandability
The PFIM-80/4/003-MW switch stands out for its flexibility thanks to the possibility of adding auxiliary contacts, undervoltage releases and a reclosing device. This allows you to adapt the device's functionality to the specific needs of the installation. The power supply direction is arbitrary, and the presence of an optical contact setting indicator facilitates monitoring the device's status. Screw and busbar terminals (from above and below) provide convenient connection of wires with a cross-section from 1.5 mm² to 35 mm² (solid) or 1.5 mm² to 16 mm² (stranded). Short-circuit strength at 10kA ensures resistance to sudden current surges during a short circuit.
