Cat.6 Data Cable – Reliable Data Transmission
The Cat.6 FTP (F/UTP) cable, designed for broadband data transmission systems, is a solid solution for both professional installers and end-users. The construction based on four twisted pairs of copper wires, designed to reduce interference, ensures a stable signal and high-quality connection. Additional aluminum foil shielding protects against external electromagnetic interference. The cable has an outer PVC jacket, providing durability and resistance to mechanical damage.
Construction and technical parameters
The cable is characterized by an outer diameter of 7.5 mm and is made of copper wires with a diameter of 0.57 mm (23 AWG). It has 8 wires with color coding, which facilitates identification during installation. The construction with twisted pairs provides flexibility and makes it easier to route the cable in various conditions. Signal propagation (NVP) is 70%, and it is tested to a frequency of 450 MHz, which guarantees high data transmission performance. The cable weight is 55.2 kg/km.
Application and advantages
This cable is ideal for creating LAN networks in offices, homes and other facilities requiring a reliable IT infrastructure. It will work in installations using PoE (Power over Ethernet) technology, allowing network devices to be powered via the Ethernet cable. It meets the requirements of EN/PL 50173 and ISO/IEC 11801 standards, confirming its high quality and compliance with industry standards. Fire reaction class Eca provides additional safety. The minimum bending radius during fixed installations is 50 mm, and in mobile installations – 80 mm, which facilitates mounting in various configurations. The permissible operating temperature is from -40°C to +70°C after installation and from 0°C to +50°C during cable laying.
