This hydraulic crimping head is distinguished by a wide working range – from 6 mm² to as much as 300 mm². It allows crimping of various types of terminals and connectors, including:

• uninsulated ring terminals (ZA dies) – range 10 ÷ 120 mm²
• insulated ring terminals (ZE dies) – range 10 ÷ 120 mm²
• uninsulated and insulated ferrules (ZT dies) – range 25 ÷ 185 mm²
• copper tubes on cable and wire strands (ZS dies) – range 6 ÷ 300 mm²
• aluminum tubes on cable and wire strands (ZS dies) – range 16 ÷ 240 mm²
• reshaping sector-shaped aluminum strands (ZF dies) – range 16 ÷ 240 mm²

Thanks to the interchangeable dies, the head can be easily adapted to a specific type of connection. It is compatible with the H 800 hydraulic pump and the AH 500 and AH 550 hydraulic units, which increases its flexibility in various working conditions.

Construction and user features

The GZ 300 head is characterized by a solid hydraulic construction providing a large clamping force (79.2 kN at a pressure of 630 bar). Automatic return after the crimping cycle increases comfort and speeds up the assembly process. Compact dimensions (129x69x235 mm) and relatively low weight (2.6 kg without dies) make it easy to maneuver the tool even in tight spaces. The lack of a ratchet eliminates the risk of accidental release during operation. The set includes a practical metal case K19 for storing and transporting the head.
